Memories of Old Sunrise now available

The KMTA National Heritage Area; the Cook Inlet Historical Society; and the Hope and Sunrise Historical Society partnered to re-publish Memories of Old Sunrise, a rollicking account of the Turnagain Arm Gold Rush of 1896. With an expanded introduction by Dr. Rolfe Buzzell, this memoir offers insights into day-to-day life in the gold mining camps around what is now the ghost town of Sunrise. Complete with photos and maps.
